Important Notes:

Fryer Note:

While our fried items are typically cooked in shared fryers containing allergens like milk, our fryer shortening is dairy-free, but does contain soy.

Butter Note: 

Our bun oil and liquid margarine for grilling are dairy-free but contain soy. While we don’t use dairy butter on the grill by default, some locations may offer garlic butter as a topping, so please verify with your local Sonic.

Other Allergen & Dietary Notes:- 

Most items listed here are free from tree nuts and peanuts, except for limited edition churros (peanut-containing) and Signature Sauce (may contain peanuts).

• Our dairy-free options are also egg-free, except for specific items like crispy tenders, churros, slaw, and various sauces.

• While we offer dairy-free grilled proteins, sauces, and condiments, please note that Sonic isn’t ideal for gluten-free diets due to shared fryers and grilled breads.
